The first month of the 2014-15 college basketball season has been remarkable. There have been massive upsets, clashes between contenders, breakout performances and the occasional signature blowout victory.

As teams move past the stage of rust and chemistry development, the balance between contenders and pretenders is beginning to take shape. Much could change between now and April, but that doesn’t make these results any less significant.

The question is, which teams have managed to crack the Top 25?
