Northeastern pulled off one of the biggest upsets by a mid-major program during the first week of the season, when the Huskies downed Florida State 76-73 in Tallahassee on Tuesday. Junior guard David Walker led the way with 22 points, on 7-of-10 shooting including 4-of-4 from beyond the arc.

Forwards Quincy Ford (18 points) and Scott Eatherton (16) combined to make 14-of-their 28 shots from the field. Northeastern shot 53.8 percent (28-of-52) from the floor and 60.0 percent (9-of-15) from beyond the arc.

Walker, who is averaging a team-high 22.5 points a game, scored 23 points in the Huskies season opening game victory over Boston University (71-65).
