The college basketball season is finally here and just in time, we’ve got the final top five positional rankings in the Big 12 as we come to the centers. Throughout the other four positional rankings, we’ve seen some star talent and plenty of depth across the board in the Big 12, but unlike the others, there isn’t much depth and well-known names that make up the list of top five anchors in the paint after the conference lost some of its depth inside to graduation and the NBA — most notably, Joel Embiid.

As for this year’s top five, there’s a couple guys with the potential to have their names on plenty NBA GM’s boards, while others are there based on potential and simply, the lack of other proven options. But nevertheless, these guys are among the best in the conference for a reason so let’s take a look at whom they are.
