NCAA: Mid-Major Preseason Power Rankings

4. Harvard Crimson
Last season: 27-5 (13-1 Ivy League), lost to Michigan State 80-73 in third round of NCAA Tournament
It took Harvard 66 years to return to the NCAA Tournament, but since making its second appearance in 2012, it has made a yearly trip to the tournament.
After winning its first conference title in 2011, the Crimson have won the Ivy League each year. This season, Harvard will look to make it five in a row, and hope to get past the third round of the NCAA Tournament, where it has lost the past two seasons.
The Crimson are led by one of the best backcourts in the country in Wesley Saunders and Siyani Chambers, and has a senior-laden and experienced starting five. However, the bench lacks depth, and shooting is also a concern. Harvard must find a way to put the ball in the basket on a consistent basis if it wants to make its first Sweet 16 appearance this season.
