Bosh and Wade: Back In Form?

Over the course of the Big Three era, the Miami Heat progressively developed a falsified reputation. LeBron James was the clear No. 1 option, but some began to believe that Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade weren’t carrying their weight.

In 2014-15, Bosh and Wade are looking to silence the critics.

Bosh is currently averaging 24.2 points, 11.0 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.8 3-point field goals per game. He has three double-doubles in five games after tallying six in all of 2013-14.

The 30-year-old has scored at least 20 points in all five games thus far.

Wade, 32, is averaging 18.6 points, 6.0 assists, 4.2 rebounds and 1.2 steals per contest. He scored a season-high 25 in his most recent outing and remains one of the best shooting guards in the NBA.

Keep in mind, Wade’s supposed down-year in 2013-14 saw him average 19.0 points on 54.5 percent shooting.

With the Heat at 3-2, the only thing missing has been the proper incorporation of Luol Deng. That will come in due time, as Miami rounds out a new trio of stars with genuine title aspirations.

The question is, how far can this team go? Perhaps most importantly, how healthy can the Heat remain?
