Welcome to a new column here at Hoops Habit, where I tell you how the NBA looks in the sports book world and I either win or lose you some money.

More from Hoops Habit

Betting on basketball is never easy. Then again, betting on any sport is never easy. But basketball is aggravating. Trying to bet games throughout an 82-game season can be gruesome, and could also cause you to file for bankruptcy.

But being a Las Vegas native, I know a thing or two about gambling. I may not be good at it sometimes, but effort is key. And for those of you living in states where gambling is legal, this is the spot for you.

Every Wednesday and Thursday, I’ll be highlighting a few key games that you should consider putting a few bucks on. It’s up to you to decide whether or not you want to take my advice, but I will tell you that I’ve won more than I’ve lost.

Except for parlay cards in football. Three weeks in a row I’ve finished one game short. Thank god basketball season is here.
