5. Turnovers still an issue

The Dubs are undefeated, but that’s not to say they’ve been perfect through three games either. Last season, one of the biggest issues the Warriors had was they were far too careless with the ball. Threading the needle out of pick and rolls makes for some nifty highlight plays, but that flashiness often came with the caveat of coughing the ball up. Stephen Curry in particular was a bit too turnover-prone, averaging 3.8 per game for the year.

In somee lovably uncomfortable sideline interviews during preseason play, Kerr stressed the importance of taking care of the ball multiple times. Unfortunately, his emphasis on cutting back on turnovers is still a work in progress, since the Dubs have committed 59 of them through three games. If Golden State wants to make a playoff run, they won’t be able to afford turning the ball over that often.
