Best: Doug McDermott vs. New York Knicks

Doug McDermott came through with a very nice debut for the Chicago Bulls, scoring 12 points on 5-9 shooting while also grabbing five rebounds and dishing out two assists in 24 minutes. He is expected to be a key player in the second unit for the Bulls, and they need him to get started early on in his career. There is no doubt that he has the potential to be a key contributor, and he will continue improving with more experience.

New York doesn’t have the best defense, but playing in a game like that to open a career is not easy. He performed well and showed a bit of the scoring talent that the Bulls acquired him to bring. This was a great start to a very promising career for McDermott in Chicago.
