5.  Duke – One man does not make a team, but when that man is 7’0″, 270-pound freshman and the No. 1 recruit in the country, chances are the team is bound to be something to talk about.

Jahlil Okafor, last season’s all-everything high school Player of the Year is undoubtedly going to be in Durham for one season, but it is what he can bring to the Blue Devils in that one season that has everyone talking.  Throw in fellow freshman Justise Winslow, an athletic do it all forward who can hit from deep and attack the basket just as well as he can play the defensive game on glass and as a ball stopper.

Averaging seven points and seven boards per game, junior forward Amile Jefferson returns to play a leadership role for Coach K’s young group.  While chances are the freshmen will see more of the spotlight, having a veteran on the floor when times get rough will play an important role for the Blue Devils this season.
