Second Round

Target

  • Chris Bosh – This is the no brainer of fantasy basketball this season for me.  Bosh is going to absolutely rake.  As the focal point of the offense in Toronto without defensive responsibilities involving running all over the place like a lunatic Bosh averaged 22.8 PPG on 50% shooting, 9.9 RPG, 2.5 APG, 1.1 BPG and 81% from the line on 8.3 attempts per game. This was before he started taking three pointers. Despite the increased workload on offense with the Heat it seems like the three will still be apart of his repertoire — Bosh has taken 17 in six exhibition contests. I’d expect the FT attempts to dip a little bit and the threes to increase from his time in Toronto.

Avoid

  • LaMarcus Aldridge – Alrdige is a better real life player than he is fantasy. He will get you points and rebounds, but doesn’t bring much else to the table. Aldridge doesn’t shoot three pointers, block shots or accumulate steals. He’s never taken more than 5.5 free throws per game and the shooting percentage is decent not great. In the second round you want to target someone that gives you more across the board than the Portland star.
