The forgotten player in the Cleveland Cavaliers’ vastly improved roster is shooting guard Dion Waiters. Despite playing near a star-caliber level during the second half of 2013-14, Waiters is something of an afterthought.

He shouldn’t be.

Waiters is a dynamic offensive playmaker who has proven capable of tormenting defenses in a variety of ways. Whether he’s attacking off the bounce, spacing the floor or taking on a facilitator’s role, he can do it all on offense.

The 22-year-old put that on display after the 2014 NBA All-Star Break. He averaged 19.3 points and 3.7 assists on a slash line of .460/.379/.714, thus proving that he can score with efficiency.

The bad news for Waiters’ statistics is that he’s the No. 4 scoring option on his own team. LeBron James, <a href=. Age: 22. 14.10 PER, 15.9 PPG, 3.0 APG, 2.8 RPG, 0.9 SPG, 36.8% 3PT. Dion Waiters. 16. player. 156
