Who Gets It?

So who walks away with the final spot on the roster? Assuming Kerr doesn’t go off the beaten path and decide to leave that final roster spot open, it would make the most sense to give it to James Michael McAdoo. He’s an athletic four who can run the floor and has the highest ceiling of any player on this list. However, knowing Kerr and Golden State’s injury-prone backcourt, I wouldn’t be surprised in the slightest to see perennial underdog Aaron Craft make the final cut.

Jason Kapono is a dark horse, Justin Holiday is a tantalizing option who may ultimately fall short of his NBA dreams once again and Watt is a long shot. The Dubs really can’t go wrong with either McAdoo or Craft, since both would work the starters hard in practice and perhaps even contribute off the bench one day. But Craft projects to be a journeyman because of his small stature and lack of a jumper, so if the Dubs want to develop some young talent, McAdoo is the best bet.
