Mitchell Watt

Watt is relatively unknown compared to the rest of his competitors and seems like the longest shot to make the final roster. He’s only cracked the rotation in two preseason games so far and his contributions (and minutes) have been severely limited. With James Michael McAdoo seemingly ahead of him in the “backup backup power forward” depth chart, Watt will really need to show Kerr something in the next week to change his fate.

That’s not to say Watt has nothing to offer, however. After spending the last two seasons playing professional basketball in Israel, Watt has had to adjust to the competition of the NBA, but his numbers from his last season overseas (13.4 points, 6.6 rebounds, 1.4 blocks per game) are notable enough to earn him at least some consideration as to his potential.
