James Michael McAdoo

Michael McAdoo probably has the most potential out of anyone in this group, especially when you consider that potential could include replacing Marreese Speights in the rotation one day down the road. Unlike Speights or even David Lee, McAdoo is an incredibly athletic four capable of running the floor and finishing at the rim with his explosive athleticism.

In a preseason victory against the Denver Nuggets, McAdoo put up 20 points,  seven rebounds and two steals in 20 minutes while going 7-for-10 from the floor. He hasn’t been able to replicate that kind of effort since, but the promise is certainly there. He probably wouldn’t contribute much this season, but adding him to the roster might pay dividends down the road as a long-term project.
