Justin Holiday

As the brother of Jrue Holiday, Justin Holiday already has the name recognition going for him. But in his first five preseason games, Holiday played a grand total of 42 minutes, was struggling with his shot and didn’t look like he’d be able to duplicate his stellar Summer League play. However, last night against the Houston Rockets, Holiday finally got his chance to show his value.

In 20 minutes off the bench, Holiday racked up 18 points on 7-of-13 shooting, including 4-of-8 from three-point range. Holiday has the length to bother people defensively and if he’s able to spread the floor with his three-point shot, it’s not unreasonable to think he might see limited minutes this season, especially if Livingston or Rush have problems staying healthy.
