6. Marcus Thornton

NBA players who have made a career for themselves as a threat from deep are always love or hate guys. Their job is to hit those shots from long-range which makes their fan approval rating a teetering 50/50 conundrum. There are games they’re on fire, and other they’re cold as ice.

For Marcus Thornton, he’s spent his career hitting 36 percent from the 3-point line. It’s ironic that he’s known primarily as a long-range shooter. Unless Thornton increases his percentage from deep, he could go from the player who has a good amount of fan optimism to the guy who’s receiving the most fan hatred.
