When the regular season opens for the Boston Celtics, they’ll find themselves in the same spot they were in last season.
Rebuilding mode or “league purgatory” is a comfortable situation for young players and anxious territory for veterans.
In most cases a mix of youth and veteran talent is a good thing, however the Celtics will be left to debate parsing out their veterans to go with a completely young team, or take time to fill in the gaps in the next few years.
