The feud between the Chicago Bulls and the Miami Heat absolutely exists, but the presence of LeBron James played a major factor. Perhaps it was the formation of a contemporary superstar super-team via free agency that rubbed Chicago the wrong way.

Right, Nazr Mohammed?

James is back in Cleveland, another super-team has been built and, this time, Chicago is a division rival. Oh boy.

Right, Carlos Boozer laughing through a flagrant foul?

Right, LeBron and Joakim Noah’s feud that spans five seasons?

Right.

At the end of the day, credit goes where credit’s due with a measure of respect for other side’s abilities. That’s where it ends, however, and where the rivalry resumes is wherever James and the Bulls step onto the court at the same time.

With James returning to the Central Division, this rivalry grows even stronger.
