Deonte Burton

Sim Bhullar wasn’t the only player who went undrafted that the Kings were quick to pick up this summer. Coming out of Nevada, Deonte Burton seems like a high-potential, low-risk pickup that could pay dividends for the Sacramento Kings. Burton’s chances of making the roster proper may have been hurt by the team’s signing of Ramon Sessions, but he will still be looking to make an impression in training camp.

Burton is an incredibly aggressive and tenacious player and that manifests itself on both ends of the floor. Offensively, Burton is always looking to create space for himself, and find a way to the rim. On the opposite end of the floor, Burton’s speed is equally a weapon, and his high intensity and effort mean it’s rare that his opponents get an uncontested shot.
