The jury is still out on whether those decisions have been the right ones, but there’s no doubt that they act as a cause for plenty of intrigue as the new season nears. Will

Darren Collison

prove good enough to fill

Isaiah Thomas

‘ boots as the starting point guard? Was Nik Stauskas the right choice with the eighth selection of the draft?

These are just a couple of the questions that Kings fans should get closer to receiving answers from with preseason play, but there are other story lines to play out too. One of which is going to be, can any of the Kings four non-guaranteed training camp invitees make the full roster?

The men competing in camp for their chance to play in the NBA are Sim Bhullar, Deonte Burton, David Wear and Trey Johnson. With the Kings currently only having 14 players with guaranteed contracts, there’s still one spot to play for. Not only that, but there’s potential for all but one of the invitees to be sent to the Reno Bighorns, the Kings’ D-League affiliate.

In other words, it’s no understatement to say that these players’ careers and livelihoods are genuinely on the line over the coming weeks. With that in mind, let’s take a closer look at the players involved and get to know them a little better.
