3. Jarvis Hayes

Hayes enjoyed one of the best seasons of his career with New Jersey in the 2008-09 season, averaging nine points and nearly four rebounds. He also set career-highs in field goal and three-point field goal percentage.

For most of his career, Hayes was known as strictly a jump shooter. Hayes sports a career average of 36 percent shooting from behind the arc.

However, injuries derailed his growth in Washington, limiting him to just 145 games played in his first three seasons. A calf injury suffered mid-way through his second season in New Jersey hurt Hayes’ improvement. He hasn’t been back in the NBA since.
