Playmaking

Mack had 271 assists last season as compared to only 199 in the previous 95 games of his career. That wasn’t just a case of him playing greater minutes than at any other stage in his career either, as Mack posted his highest assists per 36 minutes mark at 6.5 last season too. With a definite newfound confidence, Mack showed no signs of difficulty in leading the bench unit’s offense for the Hawks.

Mack is a talented passer, but he is also incredibly savvy. Generally, a top class decision maker, Mack’s basketball IQ allows him to maximize his skills. When the correct move is to pass, Mack will drop the ball off to a teammate, while if there’s a greater shooting opportunity, he’ll show no hesitation in taking that on either.
