Pro: Zoki’s Potential

No one should expect Zoran Dragic to be the shooting guard version of his brother. One of the most underrated guards in the NBA, Goran Dragic is a much more efficient shooter and steadier contributor than his brother is. However, that’s not to say the Zoki wouldn’t be able to offer an NBA team something off the bench.

At the 2014 FIBA World Cup, Zoran shot 50 percent from the field and 43.3 percent from three-point range. The NBA three-pointer is something he’d have to adjust to, and Zoki’s streakiness would have to take a step toward consistency. But he’s a pretty good athlete and with defenses focusing on shutting down Goran, Zoran was able to capitalize and make them pay.

Much like his brother, Zoran is capable of attacking the rim. He’s not quite as good a finisher near the basket like Goran — who made 64 percent of his attempts from less than eight feet last season, per NBA.com –but he’s capable of creating contact and is a quick slasher to the rim like his brother. If he can become a better perimeter shooter, he could be a great source of offense coming off the bench.
