The NBA is the league of superstars, but sometimes too much emphasis can be placed on talent and guys like Reggie Evans end up overlooked. The Kings are desperate to find the perfect compliment to Gay and Cousins, but the reality is they might be going about it in the wrong way. Gay and Cousins are both stars, and have incredible talent to lead the team forward. They don’t need another playmaker beside them, they need someone to do their dirty work.

When the Brooklyn Nets decided to go for broke on an aging Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett, who was the guy they chose to act as the anchor and counterbalance between them? Reggie Evans, of course. The reason for that is that Evans selfless nature makes him an ideal teammate for superstars. He doesn’t want the limelight, he’ll leave that for others. Reggie Evans just wants to win.
