Leadership

The Sacramento Kings are preparing to enter the new season with an exceptionally young and inexperienced roster. With a collection of recent draft picks, and even some undrafted pick-ups, the Kings roster combines for an average age of just over 25. Then you’ve got Reggie Evans. Evans is a veteran of eleven years and over 800 total NBA games. Put simply, in regards to NBA play, he’s been there, done that, and got multiple t-shirts as proof.

Evans can definitely add value on the court as a player, but off the court, he could be even more important. Coach Mike Malone needs guys to act as his voice on the floor, on the bench, and in practice, and there’s no doubt Evans is capable of such leadership. With his work ethic and attitude on court, Evans is a perfect example for his younger teammates of how to maximize the abilities they have.
