The second season can often be the one in which it all unravels from players who arrived in the NBA out of the left-field, and yet still managed to make an impact. If Antic doesn’t want that to be the case with him, he needs to look at making his game more dynamic. The Macedonian is far from new to the game of basketball, and as a wily veteran, he will have made plenty of adjustments in the past.

This might just prove to be his most important though.

Antic is armed with a strong supporting cast, filled with hard working and reliable teammates, as well as a coaching staff who clearly believe in him. Not only that, but he is lucky to be working under a coaching staff that’s so finely tuned to some of his skills, with shooting always being a focus for the Hawks.

As a result, he’ll have every opportunity to keep improving.

What it all boils down to though is, that the surprise factor has now worn off for Pero Antic.

Now it’s time for him to surprise everyone all over again.
