Leadership

Leadership is one of many intangibles that everyday fans tend to underrate in the NBA. On many occasions the difference between a middling team, and a good one, can be put down to having a true leader.

Rondo constantly seems to be talking during his time on court, and as clichéd as it sounds, he does indeed fill the role of the coach on the court.

Having coming up on a team including the likes of Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and Ray Allen, Rondo showed little reservation in having his voice be heard, and that says more about his confidence and character than anything else. The Kings have a squad packed with intriguing young talent, and what they need is someone to guide them, and help them to develop, particularly when things aren’t going their way.
