End Of Summer NBA Rookie Rankings For 2014-15 Season

Potential Surprises:
Cleanthony Early, New York Knicks – had Carmelo Anthony left for Chicago he’d be higher on the list, but Early has a shot to be a nice young duo with Tim Hardaway Jr. to benefit the Knicks.
Jordan Clarkson, Los Angeles Lakers – Steve Nash can’t stay healthy and is run down, so Clarkson should get some steady playing time behind Jeremy Lin at point guard. Should be a decent option for the future of the Lakers if he can impress early and often.
Nick Johnson, Houston Rockets – Johnson hasn’t officially signed his deal with the Rockets, but Houston was last said to want to sign him to a guaranteed three-year deal. That’s a good sign for the second round pick, who could see good playing time with the shakeup the team saw this offseason.
Jarnell Stokes, Memphis Grizzlies – will be molded into Zach Randolph 2.0 for the Grizzlies and has a high motor for rebounds. Stokes should definitely bring some toughness to that bench.
Russ Smith, New Orleans Pelicans – New Orleans has a shot at the playoffs, but their backup point guard spot is definitely up for grabs with Austin Rivers not coming close to his expectations in the NBA. Smith can be a very steady backup.
