Miami Heat – Oct. 14

With the departure of LeBron James, the Southeast Division has been blown wide open again. As a result, this is a game that many Hawks fans will have their eye on out of the preseason schedule.

For four years, the Hawks have had to watch while the Miami Heat coasted to the division title, but that could all change now. Even with James, the Hawks put it up to Miami last season, splitting their series 2-2.

The acquisition of Deng means Miami will still be competitive, but paired with Dwyane Wade, they make for an injury prone star duo. Many of the role players associated with the championship-winning Heat team have moved on to pastures new, but the additions of Josh McRoberts and Danny Granger mean they’ll still be a tough opponent.
