SG – Nik Stauskas

This one is a tough call. I’m not going for a small lineup with both Stauskas and McLemore, as I feel it would probably result in defensive car crash. Stauskas, the marginally bigger of the two, struggles with his defense, and seems nowhere near strong enough or wise enough to cope with small forwards like LeBron James and Kevin Durant.

This means only one of the two can start, and at the moment it just appears that Stauskas’ stock is higher than McLemore’s in Sacramento. The Michigan Wolverine’s shooting ability will be important for the Kings, but his playmaking skills could give him an even greater edge. Stauskas is more than comfortable with ball in his hands, and can act as a secondary option next to Collison.
