The 5 Most Intriguing Games On The Minnesota Timberwolves’ Schedule
2. Minnesota Timberwolves at Portland Trail Blazers – Nov. 30, 9 p.m. ET
The Timberwolves have an odd schedule this season, in that they don’t play a divisional opponent until their 15th game of the season. That game is this one, at Portland on a Sunday evening.
The Northwest Division should be an interesting division this season. The division features Oklahoma City and Portland, who should both be at the top of the Western Conference; it features Minnesota and Denver, two teams in a bit of flux moving forward; and it features Utah, who should not be very good but insanely entertaining with the addition of Dante Exum.
This matchup against the Blazers will be the T’Wolves’ first taste of action against one of these five teams.
This game will also be the return of Mo Williams to Portland for the first time since he suited up for the Blazers last season. Of course, Williams wasn’t the most key player for Portland last year, but it still adds another level of fun to what should be an entertaining game.
