Bhullar hasn’t signed a deal with Sacramento purely because of his size, or even to offer owner Vivek Ranadive a marketing tool in his native India. Bhullar has more than enough skill to be able to contribute in the NBA on his own merit.

When the Kings enter preseason training camp proper, competition will be tough to snag a roster spot. It would be no surprise if Bhullar was to come out on top though, and at the very least, I’d expect to see him with the Kings D-League affiliate next season.
