Oct. 30 – vs. Utah Jazz (Home Opener against Exum & Burke)

There aren’t many times to get excited for a game against the Utah Jazz.

But it’s the home opener, and Mavs fans will get an early look at Utah’s dynamic young backcourt of Trey Burke and rookie Dante Exum.

Utah made a shocking move by taking the Australian 19-year-old point guard with the fifth pick of the NBA Draft, but with his 6-6 size, he can play either guard position, keeping Burke at point guard.

If the two can gel together, they’ll be exciting to watch. Hopefully the young Jazz won’t be scared the night before Halloween, as the Mavs open the year at one of the league’s best homecourt advantages.
