Los Angeles Lakers @ New York Knicks

Sunday, Feb. 1 (ESPN)

This offseason, the Lakers swung for Kobe Bryant’s buddy Carmelo Anthony, and missed.

Anthony then re-signed with his New York Knicks, setting the stage for this mid-season duel between the two scorers.

Whether there is bad blood or good blood (is this a thing?), one thing is for certain: there is potential for a classic shootout between Carmelo and Kobe. That alone is worth the price of admission.

As an added bonus, you get Derek Fisher coaching against Kobe and the Lakers, Phil Jackson zen-ing against Kobe and the Lakers, and Jeremy Lin back to the roots of Linsanity.

This one should be fun.
