Deonte Burton may have gone undrafted, but he’s an intriguing prospect who with hindsight may be considered as overlooked. The Kings have a need at point guard, so it makes perfect sense for them to take a look at him, and if his contract is indeed unguaranteed, there’s no real risk involved either.

It’s too early to predict if Burton’s got an NBA career ahead of him, but if he impresses in training camp and the Kings preseason, he’ll at least have a chance.
