Joseph Should Get More Minutes This Year

Cory should see an increased role in minutes this year with Mills out until at least January due to shoulder surgery. Joseph could improve upon his 13 double-digit games during the 2013-14 regular season (five coming in February), with more chances to shoot and create.

On Feb. 6, Cory had a Spurs-high and career-high 18 points in a 103-89 loss at the Brooklyn Nets. Despite San Antonio being within five during the fourth quarter, all of the Big Three, Diaw and Kawhi Leonard did not play.

Of course Joseph played 24.8 MPG during February (his next highest month was 19.2 MPG during January). The Spurs were 9-3 during February, but 2-3 when Cory tallied double figures for the month.
