Wayne Ellington

Ellington is a capable two guard, but questions remain over what the Sacramento Kings’ intentions are regarding him. As a guy who shoots over 38 percent from deep for his career, there’s definitely a fit for him in Sacramento, but the question is whether the Kings have other plans in the works.

Unlike Outlaw, who they moved on, Ellington’s contract is eligible for the “Stretch Provision” as his deal was signed under the current collective bargaining agreement. This would allow the Kings to waive Ellington, open up a roster spot, and have his salary stretched against their cap over three years.
