There aren’t many forwards as talented as Al Horford, yet it still feels like he has always flown a little under the radar. There’s no doubt that Horford will get greater opportunities to shoot three-pointers in a full season as part of this Hawks’ system, but if he can become proficient, he’ll be pretty close to unguardable.

The main priority for Horford and Atlanta heading into the season has to be trying to ensure a full and healthy campaign, but being the type of guy he is, I’ve no doubt that he’s working on improving and expanding his game. If a reliable three-pointer becomes a part of that, don’t be surprised to see it propel Horford and the Hawks to the next level very quickly.
