It’s a close race for all of the final roster spots in a competitive USA squad. In terms of the battle of the bigs, Andre Drummond’s play last season is more than worthy of consideration, while Mason Plumlee had a great rookie season and has also played under Coach K at Duke.

It’s easy to see why the decision could go against him in the end, but Cousins is a more than worthy candidate, and if selected, he would give everything he has in pursuit of US success. Now all that remains is to wait and see how it all plays out.
