Presence

Everything about DeMarcus Cousins cuts an imposing figure. It may often be put down as a negative, and indeed it can be, but Cousins is vocal and has no issue with being the dominant player on the court. If the team is building up momentum, Cousins can help maintain it, or if they need someone to rally the troops, the 23-year-old wouldn’t shirk that responsibility either.

It’s true that Cousins’ passion and exuberance can lead to technical fouls, and a loss of temper, but it’s also what allowed him to average 22.7 points and 11.7 rebounds last season. Cousins will rarely be outmatched, and almost definitely won’t be found wanting in terms of will.
