Bosh’s Injury Almost Nixes Miami’s Season

Miami was focused for most of the shortened season, and was an early favorite to advance to the NBA Finals for a second-straight year. Instead, a fluke injury to Chris Bosh in the Eastern Conference semi-finals looked to end Miami’s hopes for a title.

The Heat were facing the Indiana Pacers, an opponent that challenged Miami’s offensive brilliance with physical, bruising defense. During Game 1 of the series, Bosh went up for a dunk and suffered an abdominal strain on this play:
