Stojko Vrankovic

Stojko Vrankovic or more affectionately known as “Mr. Bean” to Clippers fans spent five years in the NBA, two of which he was their highest paid player ($3.5 million in first year and $4 million in the second). He made more than Lamond Murry, Brent Barry, Rodney Rogers and Pooh Richardson who were all more talented than Mr. Bean.

Former Clippers head coach Bill Fitch would often question Vrankovic’s heart and interest in playing basketball. He was frequently frustrated and often mentally spent at the physicality and speed of the NBA. He averaged three points and three points in his NBA career, and as a Clippers center was frequently outplayed for minutes by Keith Closs. Case closed.
