Sacramento Kings: Eric Moreland Signs 3-Year Deal

Offense

So, as you might have noticed, Moreland looks to have all the skills to make him a stud defensively, but on the opposite end of the floor it’s a different story. It doesn’t feel right to call Moreland raw offensively, as he appears to be more limited than anything else.

Moreland is going to do all his work in and around the basket, and is a solid finisher overall. Considering that he doesn’t look to stretch the floor, his 50.8 percent from the field last year isn’t exceptionally high though. In Summer League, Moreland averaged only 3.5 points per game, and that begs the question of whether Sacramento can afford so little from a player on the scoring end of the floor.
