1. Caris LeVert – Junior- Michigan Wolverines

Much can change from now until  next June, but as it stands now, LeVert is the highest rated draft prospect among guards in the Big Ten. Last season Caris made a major leap in minutes played.

Those minutes paid off big for the Wolverines and LaVert, who was given a lot more responsibility. His extra points and increased basketball IQ led the Michigan team to a Big Ten championship and an Elite Eight berth.

He is 6’6″ and this gives him an edge over the smaller guards. He is also very fast and is very athletic. LaVert is of capable of  defending and rebounding and he puts the team on his back when necessary. Expect him to continue to improve and get stronger as a junior. He should be the “go to” guy on a very young Wolverine team.
