Why Millsap Should Make The Final Squad

With Love and Griffin gone, Team USA’s genuine power forward options have thinned right down to Paul Millsap and Kenneth Faried, if they indeed plan on playing Anthony Davis at center. Although the U.S. might decide to regularly play small, with either Kevin Durant and Paul George at the 4, they’ll still require some true physicality as an alternative.

Taking the exceptionally talented Spanish as an example, if Team USA were struggling with the size and physicality of the Gasol brothers, someone with Millsap’s experience and character in reserve could be a game changing option.
