Defense

Jennings has all the physical tools he needs to be an excellent defender, but it’s hard to tell if he can ever back them up with sufficient focus. Jennings has great quickness, both laterally and exploding into the passing lane, while his active hands should cause havoc for defenders.

Jennings is good at stealing the ball, averaging 1.4 per game for his career, but it’s in the less flashy areas of defensive work where Jennings attitude can let him down. The 24-year-old can often be found responsible for losing his assignments defensively, and it boils down to nothing more than a need for greater focus.
