Influence

Mack may only be 24, and is far from the most experienced player on the roster, but during his first season in Atlanta, he helped to lead by example. Mack seems like the ideal guy to have in your locker room, as he’s selfless, hard-working, and above everything else he wants his team to win.

Whether he was starting or the last man in the rotation, it was very difficult to spot any fluctuation in Mack’s demeanor or attitude last season. That sort of steadying influence is very valuable during the ups and downs of an NBA season, and the Hawks front office and coaching staff will hope it rubs off on Mack’s teammates too.
