3-Point Shooting

Mack is a great 3-point shooter, who slots perfectly into Atlanta’s system of ball movement and shooting from deep. Mack finished the season with a 3-point percentage of 33.7 percent, which isn’t the most impressive, but there was a reason why his numbers ended up so low.

Through to the end of January, Mack averaged 38.2 percent from long range. From that point on though, the Hawks had a terrible run of injuries and altered their style to present the opposition with more of a barrage from deep. This had Mack taking not only more 3-pointers, but arguably lower quality shots too, leading to his percentages suffering. In the playoffs, Mack regained his touch though, and shot 37 percent from deep for the series.
