Jameer Nelson

Like Williams, Jameer Nelson should be high on the Mavericks’ list of available free agents. Nelson carries career averages of 12.6 points and 5.4 assists per game and is the all-time assists leader in Orlando, where he has spent his entire 10-year career.

At 32 years old, Nelson has enough in the tank to be a valuable member of the Mavericks point guard rotation. If Devin Harris fails to stay healthy or if Raymond Felton fails to bounce back after a down season in New York, Nelson’s veteran presence and shooting ability (Nelson has made 874 three-point shots in his career) would be an ideal fit in Dallas.
