MAKING MOVES (NOT ALL GOOD ONES, THOUGH)

27. Boston Celtics
26. Sacramento Kings
25. Detroit Pistons

The Celtics looked like they were going to be major players, but they ended up being bit players. Yes, adding Tyler Zeller through a trade could help down the line, but then they turned around and severely overpaid Avery Bradley. If they think Marcus Smart and Bradley can be above average, you’ve still got to find a trade partner for Rajon Rondo — and it’s proving to be more difficult than we all thought.

Let’s see…get rid of your youngest and most explosive player in Isaiah Thomas so you can pay Darren Collison slightly less to do a lot less. Makes sense, because #KINGS.

I’m sure the Pistons have a plan. It’s just a terrible one. They gave too much money to Jodie Meeks, they’re still in limbo with Greg Monroe and they’re trying to pass off Josh Smith on anyone who will listen. Really don’t see the overall goal up there (unless it’s spend all the money on random players and see what happens).
